Rooted in East Angliaโ€™s thriving scene, the band blend Sabbath, Priest, Maiden, and thrash influences into a sound thatโ€™s fast, heavy, and defiantly DIY. Sixteen years on, they remain one of the UKโ€™s most enduring heavy metal acts, with a catalogue that charts their resilience and evolution. In this interview with TheNwothm, Kaine reflect on their journey and share whatโ€™s next.

ALL LEAD VOCALS COMPLETED FOR NEW ALBUM – EXTINCTIONS END

The band felt that, as when the album and EP were recorded and released, it was during the height of the Covid-19 pandemic, it would be good to re-release 8 of these songs with a fresh recording and sound.

KAINE COMPLETE TRACKING ALL INSTRUMENTS FOR EXTINCTIONS END

All the instruments have now been recorded for the new Kaine release, Extinctions End. Rage Sadler completed tracking the guitars, and Isaac Healy the bass this week.

KAINE TO RETURN TO THE STUDIO IN JUNE

Kaine will be returning to the studio in June to continue work on its new album, Extinctions End, at Unit One Studios in Colchester and will also be heading to Gallow Wood Media to finish working on the mix for the bandโ€™s new live album, Final Extinction.

LEAD GUITARS TRACKED FOR OUR NEW ALBUM EXTINCTIONS END

On Friday, Toby Woods finished tracking all his guitars for our forthcoming album, Extinctions End, at Unit One Studios in Colchester. This includes all Tobyโ€™s rhythm guitars, clean guitars, leads, and solos for the new album. Our Rhythm guitarist, Rage Sadler, also began tracking his guitars for the new album, with more sessions to come.

NEW ALBUM EXTINCTIONS END ANNOUNCED

Kaine is pleased to announce their next album and studio project, โ€œExtinctions Endโ€ which the band will resume recording on the 25th of April. Extinctions End will feature tracks from the original album After Extinction and the subsequent Extinction After EP to make up a brand-new album.
