We’re heading up to Cambridge with Rachel W. Photography again today to take some more promotional pictures to help promote the tour. We have already taken photos in Ipswich, Norwich, and Colchester (previously).
Our tour with Riot Act kicks off next week. There are still tickets available and we hope you are able to attend one of the following dates:
We’re back in Unit One, Colchester today to continue to prepare for our tour supporting Chris Holmes this month. Toby will be absent from the sessions as he is watching Carcass in Norwich today, which means we will be working as a trio. Tour tickets are still available from here.
We are back at Unit One, Colchester today to continue our preparation for our tour supporting Chris Holmes next months across Wales, Scotland and England. We are working on the set for the shows, and ensuring we are as tight as possible for the tour.
Our tour shirts are presently being printed and will be delivered ASAP to those who have pre-ordered! We are sorry about the delay in getting these printed.
In terms of the Patreon packages for 2021 (CDs) and 2022 (CDs, Shirts, and Patches) we are still waiting on everything to be sent back to us from the printers and are chasing up a few people on shirt sizes. We appreciate this is taking a long time to come through and we can only apologise for the delays, but much of this has been totally out of our hands.
We do have a 2023 Patreon package to announce, which we are delaying until all 2021 and 2022 orders are fulfilled in full. Band-backers will also get the limited edition Second Coming shirt later this year.
We finished the recording of the vocals last night with Talon Payne at Gallow Wood Media for the Falling Through Freedom EP. This means the EP will now be edited/mixed and mastered and released ASAP. The EP will be exclusive on CD to Patreon supporters paying £3 and up. Toby Woods and Talon Payne have again provided backing vocals, with Isaac Healy contributing for the first time to the backing vocals in drummer Liam Etheridge’s absence through injury.
On top of that we have made progress with the delayed 21′ Patreon EP with the artwork closing in on it’s final stages which can be viewed here. The vocals for the EP will be recorded on November 25th in what will hopefully be the last recording session. These sessions will take place at Unit One.
Our Tour Dates page has experienced an increase in traffic after the recent tour announcement. Over 1’100 people have clicked through onto the page and the “Buy Tickets” links since the tour announcement last week.

Kaine finished up for 2021 with EP sessions at Unit One yesterday, as well as beginning to write a brand new song for a future album. The band will resume the remaining recording and production for the new album in 2022, as well as begin to record the new EP. The album and EP have both been delayed due to Covid-19 Restrictions throughout 2020 and 2021.
The band has been alerted to further restrictions being implemented by the UK Government soon which may restrict the band’s work in early 2022. The band is also reviewing the situation regarding their 2022 bookings whether or not to go ahead due to the risk of cancellations due to the recent dual Covid-19 epidemic of the Delta and Omicron variants currently impacting the UK.
