The band can confirm that, subsequent to their previous album, After Extinction, breaking into the top 100 in the official UK Charts, the D85 studio project, and release plans have been modified to reflect this success.
The band is already preparing for two shows later this year, the first supporting NWOBHM legends Desolation Angels at the Cart & Horses, London (birthplace of Iron Maiden) on July 19th, and the second a festival slot in North Essex in August which is yet to be formally announced. For both shows, Kaine will be playing a full-on NWOTHM set with songs taken from all of their albums, Falling Through Freedom (2012), The Waystone (2014), A Crisis of Faith (2018), Reforge The Steel (2019) as well as 2022’s After Extinction.
Kaine will be making their return to rehearsals at Unit One in Colchester on Friday. This will be the band's first rehearsal this year after taking a hiatus following the conclusion of their 15th Anniversary Tour in December. The CD has been delayed due to key members of the band being away for health reasons. The artwork has been completed and the CDs will be landing in peoples letterboxes soon.
