The band is already preparing for two shows later this year, the first supporting NWOBHM legends Desolation Angels at the Cart & Horses, London (birthplace of Iron Maiden) on July 19th, and the second a festival slot in North Essex in August which is yet to be formally announced. For both shows, Kaine will be playing a full-on NWOTHM set with songs taken from all of their albums, Falling Through Freedom (2012), The Waystone (2014), A Crisis of Faith (2018), Reforge The Steel (2019) as well as 2022’s After Extinction.
KAINE TO SUPPORT NWOBHM LEGENDS AT THE BIRTHPLACE OF IRON MAIDEN
Desolation Angels were formed in 1981 by guitarist Keith Sharp, releasing their demos in 1981 and 1982. The band's self-titled debut album was released in 1986 (re-released in 2019 by Dissonance Productions), with Desolation Angels moving to America (Los Angeles, California) in 1987, releasing their follow-up album While The Flame Still Burns in 1990. The current incarnation of Desolation Angels features an all-star line-up of some of the best British and NWOBHM-era performers in Clive Pearson, Chris Takka, Paul Taylor & Richie Yeates.
LIAM’S LISTENING ROOM – 14/3/25
There were a few solid releases that came out this past week, but the biggest standout for me was Whitechapel’s latest offering, “Hymns in Dissonance”. I am not a Deathcore fan, and I am extremely picky when it comes to what I consider to be good Deathcore.
KAINE TO RETURN TO NWOTHM ROOTS
The band has listened to the request for these tracks to return to the set, and now that the band's “Extinction” era promoting the After Extinction album and EPs has concluded, it was felt this was the perfect time to bring these songs back to the live performances. Kaine has also reverted to using its original logo for the time being.
KAINE TO RETURN TO REHEARSALS AT UNIT ONE STUDIOS THIS WEEK
Kaine will be making their return to rehearsals at Unit One in Colchester on Friday. This will be the band's first rehearsal this year after taking a hiatus following the conclusion of their 15th Anniversary Tour in December. The band is working to prepare for its return show on August 23rd. The band's Patreon subscribers can claim free tickets to this performance by clicking here.
A SLAVE TO THE GRIND SINGLE BREAKS 61K STREAMS
The lead single off our After Extinction album has broken 61,068 streams across all platforms including, YouTube, Spotify, Bandcamp, Amazon, Apple Music, and more. This is a huge achievement for a band our size and we appreciate everyone who has taken the time to listen to the track so far.

I have taken the necessary steps and have arrived :-)
