KAINE RETURN TO REHEARSALS TOMORROW

We had a very successful return to gigging last night at a packed Club85 alongside Neverworld, Death Valley Knights and Planet Fatale. It was one of the best nights of live music we have played and it shows the scene is in great health going into 2022!

Anthony Murch is filling in for Toby Woods at next weeks show.

Tomorrow we are back in rehearsals at Unit One Colchester with Anthony Murch for the show at CODA, Colchester on Wednesday again with Neverworld and Planet Fatale. We will be playing tracks from The Waystone and Falling Through Freedom for the first time in many years.

REHEARSALS RESUME AT UNIT ONE TODAY AS THE BAND CONTINUES TO PREPARE FOR MARCH GIGS

Preparing for the Codas show next month

We will again be preparing for our run of shows with Neverworld and Planet Fatale in March at Unit One in Colchester today. Anthony Murch will be again joining the sessions to prepare for the Colchester show where the band will be playing a number of songs from The Waystone and Falling Through Freedom for the first time live in a number of years.

Tickets are available for all the shows by clicking here.

KAINE RETURN TO GIGGING AT CLUB85 HITCHIN NEXT MONTH – REHEARSALS FOR LIVE SHOWS BEGIN TODAY AT UNIT ONE

Last weeks sessions

We are preparing to return to playing live shows for 2022 during our rehearsal sessions at Unit One, Colchester today. The first gig is at Club85 Hitchin and tickets are available here.

Neverworld return to Club85 with a new line-up, a new release and a new show.

Neverworld
https://www.facebook.com/NeverworldMetal/
“Neverworld remind us all of what heavy metal is all about. At a time when we seem fixated on the next big subgenre or the ‘scene’, here is a band that have metaphorically stuck two fingers up and said, ‘we just want to rock’. And for that, Neverworld should be applauded…”

Death Valley Knights
https://www.facebook.com/deathvalleyknights

“DVK appear to combine the power of traditional metal with contemporary sensibilities, blending razor sharp solos with big riffs and even bigger choruses”

Planet Fatale
https://www.facebook.com/planetfatale
Dark Heavy Rock from Cambridge fused with blues, stoner and alternative metal influences.

Kaine

Traditional heavy metallers from Essex!

KAINE RETURN TO UNIT ONE FOR REHEARSALS TONIGHT

We will be returning to Unit One today to resume our regular rehearsals after a break recording the start of our new EP. Today’s focus will be the set for the forthcoming gigs in March which are:

  • March 4th, 2022 – Club 85, Hitchin
  • March 9th, 2022 – CODA, Colchester
  • March 18th, 2022 – Portland Arms, Cambridge
  • March 19th, 2022 – The Carlisle, Hastings
  • March 26th, 2022 – The Rock Den, Hatfield
  • April 22nd, 2022 – Tap N Tumbler, Nottingham

Tickets are still available for all these dates here.

We will be deciding the sets for these shows and prepare for gigging again after not playing live since the end of 2021. This was due to uncertainties regarding Covid restrictions going forward. England however has returned to limited restrictions which means gigs can go ahead once more without any COVID measures in place beyond the Governments basic guidelines.

FIRST 2022 DATES ANNOUNCED! A LOOK AT OUR 2022 DATES AND KAINE’S HISTORY WITHE THE VENUES.

We have announced our first run of shows for 2022! We’ll be returning to a number of regular haunts as well as a new venue. One Eyed Toad Records have graciously booked the majority of these dates for us where we will be playing alongside our friends in Neverworld and Planet Fatale.

  • March 4th, 2022 – Club 85, Hitchin

Tickets are already on sale for this show here. This is our first show back at Club 85 since September 2017 and the first ever with the current line-up. The last time we played at the venue was the only time the band ever played the single “Holding the Line” live and was the very same day they recorded it at Threecircles Recording Studio. The single is now included on the latest prints of the A Crisis of Faith albums.

  • March 9th, 2022 – CODA, Colchester

We played a show at CODA for the first-time last year, which was the band’s first gig without Covid restrictions since the Pandemic began in early 2020. Lead guitarist Toby Woods is unavailable for this date so will be replaced by a guest guitarist which will be announced soon.

  • March 18th, 2022 – Portland Arms, Cambridge

Another venue we haven’t played in several years, the last time being back in October 2016. Much like with Club 85, this is our first gig with the current line-up, and we’ll be joined by Raze who will replace Neverworld at this event. Raze are another great band, so well worth checking out this unique line-up on the night.

  • March 19th, 2022 – The Carlisle, Hastings

The last time we played here was for Mearfest back in December 2017 with the A Crisis of Faith line-up. A fun fact about this venue, is due to the local Councils zealous enforcement of parking restrictions we have had parking fines every time we have loaded into the venue in the past.

  • March 26th, 2022 – The Rock Den, Hatfield

We had been the resident band at The Rock Den back in 2016 having played there regularly in the years previous, however this will be our first performance at the venue since 2018 and only our second with the current line-up! We are very much looking forward to returning this year and entertaining the massive once more.

  • April 22nd, 2022 – Tap N Tumbler, Nottingham

This is a brand-new venue for us! We haven’t played here before but we did play Martin Shorts Badass Bash in Nottingham at the Maze all the way back in January 2014 with The Waystone line-up of the band.

Remaining Rock Den dates cancelled but Kaine return to Hertfordshire at Club85 in November

Due to re-organisation of shows The Rock Den has cancelled both remaining dates officially ending Kaine’s year long residency at the venue. It has been an excellent year and we thank Dean Archer and The Rock Den for their continued support. We will undoubtedly see you again next year at The Rock Den.

Kaine will however be returning to Hertfordshire next month as the band plays Club85 in Hitchin for the first time on the 20th of November.
