We will be playing alongside Arms to Oblivion and Neanderthal. We will have played 22 gigs this year after Wednesday, which included touring alongside Lillian Axe and Riot Act in August.

KAINE RETURN TO UNIT ONE TODAY FOR REHEARSALS + EXTINCTION AFTER EP TRACKING FINISHED AND MORE
On Friday the vocals and backing vocals were tracked for the Extinction After EP which means the recording is now complete and the release can now be edited, mixed and mastered. You can hear a preview here.

Later the same day we played the Brewhouse, Colchester for the first time alongside Heathen Kings and Osmium Guillotine. It was absolutely jam packed and it was great to see so many people supporting live Heavy Metal in Colchester. We will be back in Colchester on the 14th at Coda! You can attend by clicking here.
Today we’ll be rehearsing as a three piece at Unit One as Toby has come down with a very nasty flu.

KAINE RETURN TO REHEARSALS TOMORROW
We had a very successful return to gigging last night at a packed Club85 alongside Neverworld, Death Valley Knights and Planet Fatale. It was one of the best nights of live music we have played and it shows the scene is in great health going into 2022!
Tomorrow we are back in rehearsals at Unit One Colchester with Anthony Murch for the show at CODA, Colchester on Wednesday again with Neverworld and Planet Fatale. We will be playing tracks from The Waystone and Falling Through Freedom for the first time in many years.
REHEARSALS RESUME AT UNIT ONE TODAY AS THE BAND CONTINUES TO PREPARE FOR MARCH GIGS

We will again be preparing for our run of shows with Neverworld and Planet Fatale in March at Unit One in Colchester today. Anthony Murch will be again joining the sessions to prepare for the Colchester show where the band will be playing a number of songs from The Waystone and Falling Through Freedom for the first time live in a number of years.
Tickets are available for all the shows by clicking here.
KAINE RETURN TO UNIT ONE FOR REHEARSALS TONIGHT
We will be returning to Unit One today to resume our regular rehearsals after a break recording the start of our new EP. Today’s focus will be the set for the forthcoming gigs in March which are:
- March 4th, 2022 – Club 85, Hitchin
- March 9th, 2022 – CODA, Colchester
- March 18th, 2022 – Portland Arms, Cambridge
- March 19th, 2022 – The Carlisle, Hastings
- March 26th, 2022 – The Rock Den, Hatfield
- April 22nd, 2022 – Tap N Tumbler, Nottingham
Tickets are still available for all these dates here.
We will be deciding the sets for these shows and prepare for gigging again after not playing live since the end of 2021. This was due to uncertainties regarding Covid restrictions going forward. England however has returned to limited restrictions which means gigs can go ahead once more without any COVID measures in place beyond the Governments basic guidelines.
ANTHONY MURCH RETURNS TO KAINE – ONE NIGHT ONLY ON MARCH 9TH AT CODA, COLCHESTER
We are pleased to announce that Anthony Murch will be stepping in for Toby Woods at the March 9th show at Coda, Colchester to play lead guitar for the band. Toby Woods is unavailable for the evening which is why Anthony is stepping in for the night.

Anthony last played with Kaine at The Smokehouse on May 20th 2017 for a unique one night line-up of Rage Sadler (vocals/guitars), Stephen Ellis (bass), John Moreton (drums) and Anthony Murch (lead guitar) to celebrate the band Elimination’s ten year anniversary.
Anthony Murch played on Kaine’s debut album Falling Through Freedom (2012) and it’s follow up The Waystone (2014) before departing the band in late 2015. He currently plays alongside former Kaine drummer Chris MacKinnon in the band It’s Not A Phase Mum which can be found here.
Anthony’s one off return coincides with the 10th anniversary of the bands debut album, Falling Through Freedom.
FIRST 2022 DATES ANNOUNCED! A LOOK AT OUR 2022 DATES AND KAINE’S HISTORY WITHE THE VENUES.
We have announced our first run of shows for 2022! We’ll be returning to a number of regular haunts as well as a new venue. One Eyed Toad Records have graciously booked the majority of these dates for us where we will be playing alongside our friends in Neverworld and Planet Fatale.
- March 4th, 2022 – Club 85, Hitchin
Tickets are already on sale for this show here. This is our first show back at Club 85 since September 2017 and the first ever with the current line-up. The last time we played at the venue was the only time the band ever played the single “Holding the Line” live and was the very same day they recorded it at Threecircles Recording Studio. The single is now included on the latest prints of the A Crisis of Faith albums.
- March 9th, 2022 – CODA, Colchester
We played a show at CODA for the first-time last year, which was the band’s first gig without Covid restrictions since the Pandemic began in early 2020. Lead guitarist Toby Woods is unavailable for this date so will be replaced by a guest guitarist which will be announced soon.
- March 18th, 2022 – Portland Arms, Cambridge
Another venue we haven’t played in several years, the last time being back in October 2016. Much like with Club 85, this is our first gig with the current line-up, and we’ll be joined by Raze who will replace Neverworld at this event. Raze are another great band, so well worth checking out this unique line-up on the night.
- March 19th, 2022 – The Carlisle, Hastings
The last time we played here was for Mearfest back in December 2017 with the A Crisis of Faith line-up. A fun fact about this venue, is due to the local Councils zealous enforcement of parking restrictions we have had parking fines every time we have loaded into the venue in the past.
- March 26th, 2022 – The Rock Den, Hatfield
We had been the resident band at The Rock Den back in 2016 having played there regularly in the years previous, however this will be our first performance at the venue since 2018 and only our second with the current line-up! We are very much looking forward to returning this year and entertaining the massive once more.
- April 22nd, 2022 – Tap N Tumbler, Nottingham
This is a brand-new venue for us! We haven’t played here before but we did play Martin Shorts Badass Bash in Nottingham at the Maze all the way back in January 2014 with The Waystone line-up of the band.
NEW ALBUM LEAD GUITARS FINISHED + RETURN TO GIGGING POST RESTRICTIONS A HUGE SUCCESS
Last weekend Kaine finished recording the majority of the instrumentation for the new album with Wayne Thompson at Unit One studios last weekend. Toby Woods completed all his lead and rhythm recordings between the 17th and 18th of July as well as recording of additional harmony guitars.
Rage Sadler is to begin recording the vocals for the new album soon, with the new album being due to release next year.

The band also returned to non-socially distanced on Wednesday (July 21st) at a packed out show alongside friends Mercury Rising and Osmium Guillotine at Coda, Colchester. The gig was organised by Imperious Spirit promotions and was a major success for the underground Metal scene in Essex. Kaine played a mixture of songs from the new album and Reforge The Steel.
KAINE PREPARE FOR JULY 9TH GIG RETURN TODAY AT UNIT ONE
Kaine will be preparing for their return to gigging on July 9th today at rehearsals. The gig will go ahead despite the recent extension of restrictions by the UK Government as the gig will switch to the outside stage. Kaine will be playing alongside NWOBHM legends Rhabstallion and the Stonedead Villains which can both be heard here. Tickets are available from here. The July 14th show at CODA in Colchester is still to be re-arranged by the venue.
