EP UPDATES! FALLING THROUGH FEEDOM EP RECORDING COMPLETED IN THE STUDIO – 21′ EP ARTWORK ALMOST COMPLETE

We finished the recording of the vocals last night with Talon Payne at Gallow Wood Media for the Falling Through Freedom EP. This means the EP will now be edited/mixed and mastered and released ASAP. The EP will be exclusive on CD to Patreon supporters paying £3 and up. Toby Woods and Talon Payne have again provided backing vocals, with Isaac Healy contributing for the first time to the backing vocals in drummer Liam Etheridge’s absence through injury.

On top of that we have made progress with the delayed 21′ Patreon EP with the artwork closing in on it’s final stages which can be viewed here. The vocals for the EP will be recorded on November 25th in what will hopefully be the last recording session. These sessions will take place at Unit One.

FALLING THROUGH FREEDOM EP VOCALS TO BE RECORDED TODAY

Rage will be heading to Gallow Wood Media to record the vocals for the Falling Through Freedom EP. The EP will be a Patreon exclusive on CD and will be part of a multi-disc set to celebrate 10 years of the album release. The release will contain 5 tracks with two songs which were left off the original album. This will hopefully be the last recording session for the EP, which will mean the EP can then be edited, mixed and mastered before release. The CD ill have new artwork, as will the 2022 Patreon shirt. You can grab yours by joining Patreon for £3 or more a month here.

Yesterday Liam tracked 4 of the 5 new songs for the EP with Wayne Thompson at Unit One. There is now just one song remaining which will be tracked later today.

Recorded live at a streamed show at The Smokehouse, Ipswich from December 2020, the new Kaine EP contains 12 tracks and features songs from Reforge The Steel and The Waystone EP. Editing and additional recording took place at Gallow Wood Media between December 2020 and March 2021.

KAINE COMPLETE TRACKING FOR NEW EP AND ARE SET TO RESUME NEW ALBUM REHEARSALS THIS WEEKEND

Yesterday Kaine finished tracking the new EP at Gallow Wood Media’s new location in Margaret Roding in Essex. The EP was originally recorded live at The Smokehouse in Ipswich, with additional tracking taking place AT Gallow Wood Media’s original Danbury location late last year. The EP is now being edited, mixed, and mastered by Talon Payne who has worked with the band on their previous two live album releases and The Waystone EP.

The tracklisting will be:

It will also be the first Kaine release to feature the new logo and it will be self-titled. Artwork can be seen above.

The band will also be returning to action on Sunday when they hit Unit One studios in Colchester to begin rehearsing the new album ready to begin recording the album in full later this year.
