I’ve always loved teaching guitar. It’s really special to be a part of someone’s musical journey and to hopefully inspire others to play. I got my first taste of it when I left school and I was employed to teach a few group guitar lessons there. I then started to do private lessons which I have been doing along side university and college for the last 5 years. I have also been teaching guitar in a local primary school for the last three years.

I have had to learn a lot in order to be able to teach. I’ve had to really work on reading music which I wasn’t very confident in but now I find it much easier. I have also had to develop stylistically. I’ve had to learn how to play in many different genres that students have wanted to learn. Now that I have finished at university, I am looking to fill my time with more lessons and hopefully inspire the next generation guitarists!

I have been playing guitar for 15 years and have completed Rockschool Grades 1-8. I have also studied guitar extensively throughout my time at College and University.

I can teach any age/ability level and I have many hours teaching experience from teaching students privately and at local schools.

I can also teach Ukulele.
