WHY ITS IMPORTANT TO PAY RESPECT TO OZZY OSBOURNE AND BLACK SABBATH AT COZFEST 2025

Weโ€™re all Black Sabbath fans, so we really want to be able to do this. As I said when Ozzy had passed, one of my dreams was to play a gig supporting Black Sabbath, and while that dream will never come to fruition now, just being able to pay tribute to Ozzy and the original Black Sabbath in this way itโ€™s a huge honour for me and the guys.

PHIL CAMPBELL, ALICE COOPER AND JUDAS PRIEST GIVE EPIC PERFORMANCES IN LONDON (25/7/25)

Next up was Judas Priest, and wow, what a performance, what a set, what a night. If I hadnโ€™t already been overloaded by how good Phil Campbell and Alice Cooper were, Judas Priest were exceptional, and it finished off what was essentially a night of Hard Rock & Heavy Metal heaven for me. Getting to hear so much from Painkiller live was a real blessing, being Priest's heaviest album, it is a personal favourite of mine. I was also surprised by the inclusion of Solar Angels, which was also performed expertly live by the band.

KAINE FRONTMAN GIVES THANKS TO OZZY OSBOURNE – A HERO TO US ALL

My bandmates and I have pondered since the news, without Ozzy, without Black Sabbath, we would have likely never met, never become friends, and never played music together. That is just how much of an impact Ozzy has had on our lives and everything we do.

LIAMโ€™S LISTENING ROOM – 22/4/25

The song in question is Cryptopsy - โ€œUntil Thereโ€™s Nothing Leftโ€. Jesus f+#~$g Christ, this song is heavy. Obviously, if you know Suffocation, you likely know Cryptopsy, and theyโ€™re probably more responsible for the tech-death sound as we know it, โ€œNone So Vileโ€ being the prime example.

LIAMโ€™S LISTENING ROOM – 14/4/25

Hey, after a brief hiatus, Iโ€™m back with another listening room post! I didnโ€™t intend to be away for as long as I was, but oh well, Iโ€™m here now. As per usual, Iโ€™ll go through my favourite new releases that Iโ€™ve been listening to recently, as well as my general listening habits in and out of the metal world. This one will be a little different though, instead of going through releases that were from the last week, like I did previously,y Iโ€™m going to go through my favourite release since the last time I did this. So without further ado, here is my favourite release of the past few weeks.

LIAMโ€™S LISTENING ROOM – 14/3/25

There were a few solid releases that came out this past week, but the biggest standout for me was Whitechapelโ€™s latest offering, โ€œHymns in Dissonanceโ€. I am not a Deathcore fan, and I am extremely picky when it comes to what I consider to be good Deathcore.
