KAINE TO SUPPORT NWOBHM LEGENDS AT THE BIRTHPLACE OF IRON MAIDEN

Desolation Angels were formed in 1981 by guitarist Keith Sharp, releasing their demos in 1981 and 1982. The band's self-titled debut album was released in 1986 (re-released in 2019 by Dissonance Productions), with Desolation Angels moving to America (Los Angeles, California) in 1987, releasing their follow-up album While The Flame Still Burns in 1990. The current incarnation of Desolation Angels features an all-star line-up of some of the best British and NWOBHM-era performers in Clive Pearson, Chris Takka, Paul Taylor & Richie Yeates.

KAINE TO RETURN TO NWOTHM ROOTS

The band has listened to the request for these tracks to return to the set, and now that the band's “Extinction” era promoting the After Extinction album and EPs has concluded, it was felt this was the perfect time to bring these songs back to the live performances. Kaine has also reverted to using its original logo for the time being.

We’re heading up to Cambridge with Rachel W. Photography again today to take some more promotional pictures to help promote the tour. We have already taken photos in Ipswich, Norwich, and Colchester (previously).

BACK TO REHEARSAL TODAY – FIRE DOWN UNDER TOUR STARTS THIS MONTH!

After yesterday's Mearfest appearance at The Queens Hall, Nuneaton, we are back to rehearsal today. The focus today will be preparation for the forthcoming tour with Riot Act. Riot Act will be playing the entirety of the legendary Riot album Fire Down Under on this tour, and we’re really looking forward to hitting the road with them later this month. We are aiming to be in top playing condition for these shows!

FINAL MEARFEST REHEARSALS TODAY AT UNIT ONE

Isaac Healy is now unable to do the show because of work commitments, so former bassist Stephen Ellis will be stepping in for the show and has been learning the band's new set this week.
