KAINE ANNOUNCES NEW 2021 PATREON SHIRT DESIGN + NEW £3 PATREON TIER

Following feedback from the Facebook community, the design theme for Kaine’s 2021 Patreon shirt is Master of Mankind, named after the track from Reforge The Steel. The band also consulted on pricing and many people felt the existing £1 a month tier was too cheap, so for 2021 a new £3 a month tier will be introduced which will offer subscribers an exclusive EP on CD each year they remain a subscriber. The existing £1 a month tier will remain for those who do not want to pay the extra £2 a month.

The new shirt/patch design features the brand new Kaine album from the forthcoming new album from the band which was announced last week. You can both upgrade your existing subscription or join our Patreon to get your shirt, patch, and CD here.

The new £3 tier

Due to COVID-19, there had been a slight delay to the 2020 patches being printed and sent out, they are currently being made and will be sent out ASAP to all 2020 subscribers and we can only apologise for the delay.

KAINE – NEW ALBUM SUSPENDED DUE TO COVID-19 RISK

The bands last rehearsal session

The band will suspend their new album rehearsal and writing sessions due to the ongoing Covid-19 outbreak in the UK. This is due to people being at severe risk of infection in the immediate circle of the band, and with the new variant of the virus, younger people are now becoming more regularly infected. 1 in 20 people across all age groups in some areas of Essex are now infected with the virus and it was decided today by the band that suspending the album sessions was the safest decision moving forward.

Sessions will resume as soon as vaccinations become available and assuming rehearsals and recording sessions remain legal. This means that the new album, which the band began work on in late 2019, will be further delayed until further notice along with the new EP.

MUSICIANS UNION CONFIRMS STUDIOS CAN REMAIN OPEN FOR REHEARSAL AND RECORDING DURING FULL UK LOCKDOWN

Tonight the UK Musicians Union has confirmed that studios that are Covid-19 safe can continue to offer both rehearsals and recording sessions under the new national lockdown. This means we will continue to write and rehearse our new album at Pioneer Music for the duration of the lockdown while remaining as safe as possible throughout the process.

KAINE RETURN TO THE STUDIO THIS WEEKEND AS REHEARSAL REMAINS LEGAL UNDER TIER 4

Our last session of 2020

Kaine will return to Pioneer Music on Sunday to resume work on their new album after a short Christmas break. The band has been rehearsing 9 new songs with more to come in the coming weeks. Over the Christmas break a new song was written as well as lyrics and vocal melodies for the new tracks which will be worked on in the studio over the next few weeks.

Recording studios and rehearsal spaces are legally allowed to remain open under tier 4 and the band will continue to work on the new album while this is the case.

KAINE TAKING A BREAK OVER THE CHRISTMAS PERIOD

Last weeks sessions

The band will not be rehearsing this weekend due to the Christmas break but will return to work on the new album shortly after. The new album writing sessions had to be postponed earlier this year due to the COVID-19 pandemic. After the rehearsal on March 13th the band was unable to work on the new album until the 9th of August when rehearsal became legal again in the UK. This has held up the writing/release of the new album which was due to be released later this year.

WORK CONTINUES ON THE NEW ALBUM ON SUNDAY

At work on the new EP and album last weekend

Kaine will return to the Pioneer Music Studio on Sunday to continue work on their new album. The band now has 9 songs ready and will look to start recording it sometime in 2021. Due to COVID-19 the band was unable to rehearse for much of 2020 which has delayed the writing process for the new album.
