The band has listened to the request for these tracks to return to the set, and now that the band's “Extinction” era promoting the After Extinction album and EPs has concluded, it was felt this was the perfect time to bring these songs back to the live performances. Kaine has also reverted to using its original logo for the time being.
Kaine will be making their return to rehearsals at Unit One in Colchester on Friday. This will be the band's first rehearsal this year after taking a hiatus following the conclusion of their 15th Anniversary Tour in December. Last Wednesday we returned to gigging for the first time since December 2023. This was due to Rage having time out due to having shoulder surgery and Liam subsequently breaking his arm and requiring surgery on that injury, which required a longer recovery process.
We have sold over 100 tickets in our advance sales period, and are just 38 sales away from our next target of 150.
As you will have noticed we have not played live since December 2023. This is for several reasons, first, both myself and Liam have been through surgery and are still recovering from our injuries. I have made a good recovery while Liam still has some issues, and has been through extensive rehabilitation. He may require further surgery yet, which is why we are being cautious with our return to live performances.
