It is clear that YouTube is the most popular platform for people to listen to the new album. By comparison physical sales lag way behind at just 90 CD sales, even at a reduced price, and standalone paid downloads just 65 purchases even at a reduced rate of £1.
Not only has NWOTHM Full albums been a success but all three single releases generated thousands of plays before the release of the album, with the single A Slave to The Grind being played over 10,099 times alone!
We have given the approval to the final artwork for our new album artwork with the printers. The job will now begin and we are hopeful the CD's will be available to be sent out to those who have pre-ordered soon.
The new EP will be a Patreon exclusive release and will be part of special 10 year anniversary set which includes the unreleased demos, the instrumental album, the 2012 version, the 2016 version and the new EP as well as a brand new t-shirt.
We will be playing songs from The Waystone (2014), A Crisis of Faith (2018), Reforge The Steel (2019) and After Extinction (2022). The gig is free entry entry.
Unfortunately, the pre-orders did not cover the costs of the printing of the CDs, and we again had to borrow money to fund the difference in order to get these printed. Streaming numbers so far have been strong, but the revenue from these streams is paid out later down the line and wouldn’t cover the costs of the printing either. This has meant we had a delay in paying for the printing to take place.
