Kaine’s performance, supporting NWOBHM legends Desolation Angels, was a success on Saturday night. The event took place at the Cart & Horses (birthplace of Iron Maiden) and was well-attended, despite going up against Manowar on the same night. The feedback from those in attendance has been incredibly positive for both bands. It proves that NWOBHM still has a real and thriving scene in the UK and London.
This is the second video launched from our live album FINAL EXTINCTION. The original track was recorded for the Extinction After EP, and was written by the band during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Kaine will be returning to the studio in June to continue work on its new album, Extinctions End, at Unit One Studios in Colchester and will also be heading to Gallow Wood Media to finish working on the mix for the band’s new live album, Final Extinction.
The band is already preparing for two shows later this year, the first supporting NWOBHM legends Desolation Angels at the Cart & Horses, London (birthplace of Iron Maiden) on July 19th, and the second a festival slot in North Essex in August which is yet to be formally announced. For both shows, Kaine will be playing a full-on NWOTHM set with songs taken from all of their albums, Falling Through Freedom (2012), The Waystone (2014), A Crisis of Faith (2018), Reforge The Steel (2019) as well as 2022’s After Extinction.
The album was recorded at The Waterfront, Norwich in December 2024 and was the last performance on the 16th anniversary tour.
