The pre-order for the new album is now available on Bandcamp. You can get the digital album for just £1 and the CD for £13.
The CD version album is housed in a Super Jewell Case and contains a full colour booklet (with lyrics). These are more resilient than the regular Jewel cases and are typically more resilient to scratches and damage than the traditional CD case. We’ve used the replication method for these CD’s which is of a much higher quality. These are replicated to the highest industry standards.
Kaine have released an early image of artist Silencer 8’s work on the artwork for the new Kaine album. Silencer 8 has provided artwork for every Kaine album since the bands beginning all of which can be seen in the gallery below.
Kaine will be returning to rehearsals this weekend at Unit One. The focus will be the Patreon EP (21′) and a soon to be announced show in February. The band took a break over the festive period to recharge ahead of the new album release and the new year. A number of shows have been planned for 2022, Covid restrictions allowing, which will also be announced soon.
The band will again be returning to Pioneer Music Studio to continue wring and rehearsals on their new album. As of last week Kaine were up to their 8th song for the new record with more in the pipeline. You can watch the session above on YouTube.
Kaine is back at work on the new album this Sunday at Pioneer Music. The band is currently working on 7 songs for the album with more planned over the next few weeks. The band had originally planned to release a new album in 2020 however work on the album was suspended earlier this year due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
This live video recorded and edited by Max Campbell for our first DVD release which was recorded at the bands 10 year show in April 2019 and features both sets from the Reforge The Steel Line-up and the final performance of the A Crisis of Faith line-up. The DVD is limited to just 100 copies and will not be printed again.
The A Crisis of Faith set will be exclusive to the DVD. Kaine X is the double live album recorded which features two sets, the first being the current line-up of the band playing material from their forthcoming album and two tracks from The Waystone and the second being the final ever performance of the A Crisis of Faith album with the line-up which recorded the album.
Kaine will release their new album Reforge The Steel this Friday via Bandcamp. The album art has been enhanced (again done by Kaine’s long serving artist Silencer 8) and updated for the release (above).
The band began recording in November 2018 (just 9 months after the release of A Crisis of Faith) and recording was concluded in June of this year. The album was finally mixed and mastered last month and is now ready for full release. Reforge The Steel was again produced by Carl B of Pointy Halo Productions alongside Sheldon Jolly, the same team who worked on A Crisis of Faith.
The bulk of the material was written between April and October of last year with many songs being staples of the bands current sets, two live versions of the album tracks will soon be available, the first being Kaine X Live 2019 (already available to purchase, just awaiting mastering) and Reforge The Steel live which will be recorded next month at the B2 Norwich (tickets available from here).
An additional live EP of the songs will be made exclusively available to bandcamp members next week. Members will also get 10% off the CD and additional merch for the album – to join as a member click here.
It’s the first release to feature the line-up of Rage Sadler (guitars and vocals), Liam Etheridge (drums), Toby Woods (lead guitar) and Isaac Healy (bass).
We’ve launched our new Patreon service. Differing from the Bandcamp membership, our Patreon rewards supporters with merchandise. Each year we’ll produce a limited-edition t-shirt for our Patreons which will be a unique design along with a patch.
It’s only $1 a month ($12 a year) and the income will help us with the cost of rehearsals, recording, printing merchandise and CD’s, pressing vinyl and so on.
To join our Patreon click here – if music is more your thing you can still become a Kaine member which for £5 a year gives you our entire back catalogue, exclusive releases, future releases and 10% off merch. You can become a Kaine member here.
