Kaine's upcoming gigs are likely to be postponed as the Government appears to be looking to extend the lockdown ending date to around July 19th. This will mean the bands shows at Coalville on July 9th and Colchester on July 14th will likely not go ahead. Kaine's June date in Swansea was also cancelled by the Welsh Government due to Covid-19 infection rates beginning to rise again.
KAINE RESUME REHEARSALS AS NEW ALBUM PROGRESSES AND THE BAND PREPARES FOR UPCOMING SWANSEA SHOW
Kaine will play their first show in Swansea since 2018 next month at Hanger 18, Swansea on Friday, June 25th. This will be the bands first full gig back post-Covid restrictions which as been put together by RS Promotions. They will be supported by Who Knows Didley and Southbound and they can both be heard here. This is a ticketed event, and the tickets can be purchased here.
DRUM RECORDING FINISHED FOR NEW KAINE ALBUM AT UNIT ONE
Liam Etheridge finished tracking the drums to the new Kaine album this weekend. The bands 5th album contains 9 brand new songs, a number of which saw their live debut at The Music Room, Ipswich on Saturday. Engineer Wayne Thompson will now be editing the drums in the coming weeks as the band looks forward to the tracking of the guitar and bass as soon as possible.
NEW ALBUM RECORDING – DAY 2
We spent Friday setting up the kit and ensuring the sounds were right, ready to begin recording today. Liam will be in from 9am today recording the tracks before heading over to The Music Room, Ipswich for tonight's gig later today.

NEW ALBUM TRACKING BEGINS ON MAY 21ST 2021 AT UNIT ONE
Liam Etheridge will begin tracking drums for the new album on the evening of Friday the 21st of May 2021. The tracking will take place at Unit One Studios where the band presently rehearses and the engineer in charge of the session will be Wayne Thompson. Tracking will also take place the day of May 22nd (before the Ipswich gig) and May 23rd.
