Liam Etheridge will begin tracking drums for the new album on the evening of Friday the 21st of May 2021. The tracking will take place at Unit One Studios where the band presently rehearses and the engineer in charge of the session will be Wayne Thompson. Tracking will also take place the day of May 22nd (before the Ipswich gig) and May 23rd.
The band has decided to track the drums as locally as possible to avoid the potential spread of Covid 19 and to be as safe as can be. Rage Sadler will be overseeing the production of the record as a result, which is a departure from the bands wo previous records which were recorded by Pointy Halo at Redwall Studio’s in Bury, Greater Manchester, Pointy Halo having since ceased operations in 2020.
