KAINE CURRENTLY WORKING ON THREE NEW RELEASES

Kaine is presently working on three new projects. The first of these is a new live album, recorded at the legendary Cart & Horses venue (birthplace of Iron Maiden), which features many of the band’s popular NWOTHM songs from the albums After Extinction, A Crisis of Faith, and The Waystone. The band is still mixing and editing the release, as well as the video accompanying the album, but progress has been made in recent weeks, and the release should be completed soon. An announcement with the live albums artwork and tracklist will be made soon.

The Cart & Horses is a historic pub located in Stratford, East London. It is world-famous among rock and metal fans as the “Birthplace of Iron Maiden.” After bassist and primary songwriter Steve Harris formed Iron Maiden on Christmas Day in 1975, the Cart & Horses became the band’s primary local venue. It was one of the first places where the early lineup cut their teeth and built a local fan base playing raw, energetic live shows. Early gigs at the pub featured Steve Harris alongside original vocalist Paul Day, guitarists Dave Sullivan and Terry Rance, and drummer Ron Matthews. Today, the pub leans heavily into its legendary legacy. Following major refurbishments, it operates as both a functioning live music venue and a pilgrimage destination for Iron Maiden fans from around the globe. For the Cart & Horses, hosting energetic modern-era NWOBHM-inspired bands like Kaine demonstrates that the pub is a thriving, active live music spot rather than just a static museum of Iron Maiden history.

The second of these projects is a brand new, three-track EP, again based in the NWOTHM style and heavily influenced by the NWOBHM movement. The three songs are being rehearsed and honed, with the band aiming to head into the studio soon to begin recording. This EP is very much a tribute to the New Wave of British Heavy Metal movement. Finally, two new songs have been written for a new Kaine album and are presently being rehearsed and worked on by the band. With the band’s last two albums charting, the band is excited about what the follow-up record can achieve.
