Kaine frontman Rage Sadler completed recording all the lead vocals for Extinctions End with Wayne Thompson of Unit One Studios on Friday (15/8/25). The vocals are his angriest, most aggressive, and direct yet; this reflects the overall sound of the release.
Extinctions End is a reimagining of 8 songs from After Extinction (No. 85 in the top 100 Official Albums Charts) and the subsequent Extinction After EP. All the tracks have been re-recorded from scratch, in a different tuning, and will have completed different mixes from the original releases. The band felt that, as when the album and EP were recorded and released, it was during the height of the Covid-19 pandemic, it would be good to re-release 8 of these songs with a fresh recording and sound.
All that remains to record is the backing vocals, and then it can be mixed for release.
