Kaine recently delivered a notable performance on August 31st, 2026, supporting Texas Metal legends Helstar. The show featured a distinct departure from the band’s standard configuration, unveiling a special three-guitar lineup and marking a temporary shift with former lead guitarist Saxon Davids stepping into the role of lead vocalist, filling in for frontman Rage Sadler.
Saxon Davids, recognized for his work on Kaine’s A Crisis of Faith album (2018) and with bands Entropy and Twisted Illusion, assumed lead vocal responsibilities for the evening. In an impressive display of talent and commitment, Davids remarkably learned the complete Kaine live set, including complex vocal lines and all lyrics, in a mere three days leading up to the performance. This special show also uniquely configured the band with a powerful three-guitar formation, delivering a truly colossal live sound.
Highlights of the special configuration’s performance were captured by band supporter Gary Bowers, specifically a rendition of “All Hail,” taken from Kaine’s successful charting album, Extinctions End (UK Official Charts Top 100).
