Chris MacKinnon and Saxon Davis will rejoin Kaine for a one off appearance on September 14th, for Osmium Guillotine’s new album launch gig. Chris will be stepping in for Kaine drummer, Liam Etheridge who is unable to play the show. Saxon was also invited by the band to join them for the performance, and both will play alongside the new line-up of Rage, Toby and Isaac. The set will be drawn entirely from the album A Crisis of Faith.
The Kaine connection on the night is strong, with former Kaine bassist and vocalist Dan Mailer making his full album debt with Osmium Guillotine having previously appeared on their first album along with Rage performing backing vocals. Osmium Guillotine drummer James Balcombe has played a number of gigs with Kaine in the past filling in, with guitarists Peter Keliris and Lance Steele also having guested with the band in the past. On top of this, A Bribe for the Ferryman’s drummer Josh Moreton is a founding member of Kaine, and vocalist Rob Norrington has also guested with Kaine in the past. Rob had also previously been in the band Adonis alongside former Kaine guitarist Ant Murch (Falling Through Freedom/The Waystone).
The show will take place in Braintree at The Kavern and is free entry from 8pm. The attend the event, please click here.
