Kaine had a successful return to rehearsals after a nearly 4-month break last Friday at Unit One Studios in Colchester. They will now resume their regular rehearsal sessions as normal and their work as a full-time band, however only playing select shows going forward.
The band is already preparing for two shows later this year, the first supporting NWOBHM legends Desolation Angels at the Cart & Horses, London (birthplace of Iron Maiden) on July 19th (announced here), and the second a festival slot in North Essex in August which is yet to be formally announced (here). For both shows, Kaine will be playing a full-on NWOTHM set with songs taken from all of their albums, Falling Through Freedom (2012), The Waystone (2014), A Crisis of Faith (2018), Reforge The Steel (2019) as well as 2022’s After Extinction.
Tickets for the gig with Desolation Angels are now on sale from here. The last time these two bands played this venue together this event was sold out, so order early to avoid disappointment.
Kaine will also be resuming studio work on both their yet-to-be-announced new release at Unit One, as well as continuing to mix/produce their new live album, Final Extinction, with Gallow Wood Media for a release later this year.
