Our YouTube relaunch has so far been a huge success. We have been working closely with Talon Payne of Gallow Wood Media to improve our video content and start to grow the band again for 2026. Since the relaunch, across the board there has been a large improvement, largely due to uploading short form content to support then videos we have uploaded.
We have seen 586% increase in views since the channel relaunch, a 202% improvement on watch time, which is approximately 29k views which has seen our subscriber count increase to nearly 2000. This contrasting with those who see our Meta based platforms such as Facebook, with mere 10s to a few hundred of the pages 14k followers ever seeing or engaging with the content we have posted. We have spent £0 advertising the channel.
The relaunch started with Liam’s drum cover of Mastodon’s Blood and Thunder, which broke 4000 views very quickly. Following this we released two videos featuring Toby and Isaac showcasing their instruments, amplifiers and set ups.
Ideally, we would still like to improve the numbers of viewers watching our videos as well, but as a start, the improvement has been incredible.
